چکیده
eurasian perch, perca fluviatilis l., is one of the most important species in european freshwater aquaculture and probably one of most important of cold freshwater species in nearest future. the aim of this study was to test the ovaprim in artificial reproduction in eurasian perch in two temperatures (12 and 14°c) with using new oocyte maturation stage system. the results obtained in present study showed that the oocyte maturity stage is very important in artificial reproduction of perch. the spawning effectiveness, in present study described as ovulation rate, latency time and embryo survival to the eyed-egg-stage, was higher when fish with higher oocyte maturity stage was used for reproduction. the latency time was depended on oocyte maturity stage and on water temperature. if the water temperature was highest from tested (14°c) and oocyte maturity stage was also the highest (4 th ) the latency time was the shortest. the obtained results showed that ovaprim might be successfully applied in artificial reproduction of eurasian perch under controlled conditions.

First-year overwinter mortality in Eurasian perch (Perca fluviatilis L.)
The importance of overwinter mortality of 0+ perch (Perm fluviatilis L.) in central European lakes was estimated using a stochastic simulation model. The probability of overwinter mortality of a perch co hort was calculated by using a model developed for yellow perch (P. flavescens Mitchill). Winter duration from a long-term data set and the length of perch at the end of the first year from fi...
متن کاملSperm characteristics in perch Perca fluviatilis L
Sperm production is a crucial factor for the potential reproductive success of males in many species (Nakatsuru & Kramer, 1982). Especially under strong sperm competition, higher sperm numbers in the ejaculates are likely to increase a male’s chance of fertilization (Parker et al., 1996). But sperm production is limited by physiological constraints, e.g. by testis size, which often depends on t...
متن کاملEffects of geographic origin on growth and food intake in Eurasian perch (Perca fluviatilis L.) juveniles under intensive culture conditions
Survival, growth, and food intake of Eurasian perch (Perca fluviatilis) juveniles from different stocks originating from various geographic regions of Europe were compared under the same conditions of laboratory-scale intensive culture. In Experiment 1, four stocks originating from Italy (I), southwest (SF) and northwest (NF) France, and Belgium (B) were examined at larval and early juvenile (i...

Ultrastructural features of hepatocytes in cultured Eurasian perch ( Perca fluviatilis L.) as affected by nutritional and husbandry conditions.
A wide range of factors can be attributed to the syndrome of fatty liver observed in some cultured fish species. The objective of the study was therefore to quantify different hepatocyte ultrastructural features as potentially influenced by twelve nutritional and husbandry factors, in order to discriminate the most influent factors in Eurasian perch (Perca fluviatilis), a typical carnivorous te...
متن کاملLife-history Variation and Age at Maturity in Eurasian Perch (Perca fluviatilis L.)
Heibo, E. 2003. Life-history variation and age at maturity in Eurasian Perch (Perca fluviatilis L.) This thesis deals with life-history variation in perch, with special focus on age at maturity. We conducted field studies to uncover the variation within short geographic distances and a literature review to study variation on a large geographic scale in order to reveal some factors affecting lif...
